Industry publications and communications—no matter the industry—are very specific for a good reason. The trouble can be that they all look the same. An easy way to make a better impression is to stand out. In fact, be outstanding in your field.
It’s true, though—you do what you love and it doesn’t feel like work. Winning awards and recognition is fine and good. In my view, doing the good work that needs to be done is more important. Make sure the projects are doing what they need to do.
